No child should have to suffer from being bullied. feeling sad, scared, or lonely. Although, as adults, we cannot protect our children from these feelings all the time, we can at least help them reach out to other children by providing a buddy bench.

 

A buddy bench is a place where a child can sit when feeling sad, lonely, or bullied. Other children can come over and offer support by providing friendship through sitting, talking, going for a walk, or inviting them to play.

 

The buddy bench is a safe haven. A request for help and friendship. A child only needs to sit on the bench and help is on the way.
